Clean & Modern

MEDIUM: Kiln Formed Glass

Living in Prescott, Arizona, I am a kiln-formed glass artist captivated by the dynamic interplay of contrast and color.  My work often explores the tension and harmony between black and white, inspired by vivid, monochromatic dreams.  From these visions, I craft modern, geometric forms, sometimes adding subtle hints of color or completely shifting the palette to evoke new emotional tones.  Nature and dreams are constant sources of inspiration, guiding me to create pieces that feel both clean and quietly bold, infused with depth, texture, and a sense of movement.  My creative journey began with a broad fascination for many art forms, from drawing to pottery.  Over the past 20 years, however, kiln-formed glass has become my true passion.  What started as small fused elements in my handmade jewelry gradually evolved into larger, more abstract works, each piece a reflection of my personal growth as an artist. Crafted in my home studio, my art balances modern elegance with a touch of nature’s raw beauty.  My goal is to create work that resonates with clarity and inspires others to see the beauty in simplicity, sparking excitement and bringing a modern elegance to the spaces it inhabits.

Show will run from May 23 - June 25, 2025
