Growing up in the West, I have been constantly influenced by the desert, mountains and ocean. On walks, I was the one who collected odd rocks, sticks and leaves. Happily I found a way to incorporate some of these things into baskets. I have been weaving baskets since 1977, shifting from weaving traditional baskets to traditional methods applied to non-traditional materials. I enjoy the unpredictability of wild materials and can never predict exactly how a basket will look when finished.

I have lived in the Prescott area since 1981. Currently I live in Skull Valley, with my husband Tom and a menagerie of animals.
